ABOUT THIS MOD:
===============================================
About two years after I left the Morrowind modding scene, I became nostalgic and decided to visit Planet Elder Scrolls. To my surprise, the only mod I'd ever submitted there, "Acheron's Camping Gear v1.5" was inducted into the hall of fame and had nearly 10,000 downloads! As a big thank you to everyone who downloaded and enjoyed my mod, I'm releasing this sequel, "Acheron's Camping Gear 2." I've completely rewritten the code and added several new scripts.

The Mod itself includes a bag of camping equipment that can be placed anywhere on the ground (outside of cities). The bag contains a tent, a bedroll, 15 leather barriers, a campfire, a stool, a folding table, and a cauldron. I've used models provided by Dereko (who made a mod called "Adventurer's Tent," which is based on my ACG v1.5). The Tent is a model by Dereko that the player can fit inside of. When the Camping Gear bag is placed on the ground, you can activate it to either access the bag's contents (the camp gear) or "Pack Up" the camp, removing all camp items from the gameworld quickly and placing the bag back in your inventory.
The following changes have been made since version 1.5:

#all scripts have been rewritten from the ground up.

#The player is now unable to set up camp in cities or underwater. This should add a bit of the realism of the mod, since you can no longer pitch a tent in someone's living room or a public square, or start a campfire under a lake. Exceptions are those areas from the expansions, since this is a MW only mod, and the Ashlander Camps, in case you want to camp with them.

#When you "pack up" the camp, all camp items in your inventory are removed. I had trouble making this script for the original mod, so I left it out, but here it is, fully functional and, as far as I know, bug free.

# You cannot sell camp items aside from the Camping Gear bag as a whole. Before, a bug allowed the player to get infinite money by holding onto camp items or placing them in other containers before "pack up," then selling them and later opening the pack, then selling them again. Now, the placeholder items are marked so they cannot be sold (using Morrowind Enchanted Editor and making the 'unknown' variable in each misc item equal to 1).

#New items: a folding table (by Dereko), a stool, and a cauldron. Plus, the camping gear bag is from a model by Dereko.

#Retextured bedroll by Calishlan

You can buy it from the NPC Acheron in the Molag Mar, Waistworks (a fairly desolate location that I used for my last mod, so there'll be few or no conflicts with other mods).
I've also included the original 1.5 release of this mod that was so popular, and an optional esp that makes some of the scripts compatible with 'Necessities of Morrowind.'

INSTALLATION:
===============================================
This mod should consist of:
CampingGear.txt
Acheron's Camping Gear 2.esp
icons folder
meshes folder
textures folder
ACG NOM Compatibility Option.zip
acherons_camping_gear_15.zip

Just drag all the folders and the esp onto the data files folder in your Morrowind directory and they will go where they are meant to. All the files are nested inside folders marked 'ach' - KEEP THESE INTACT - the game knows to look there for them. The zip files contain optional esp files.

KNOWN ISSUES OR BUGS:
===============================================
None that I know of. Be sure to e-mail me at mpc174@yahoo.com if you find anything, putting "morrowind" in the subject line.

Be sure to empty the contents of the camping bag (except for your camp gear) before packing, or your items will become "crushed," deleted. A warning screen pops up before you pack up, just be careful with your stuff. If you want, you could 'take all' before packing, and upon pack, the camp items in your inventory will be removed. Use at your own risk.

===============================================
INCOMPATIBILITIES & SAVED GAME WARNINGS:
===============================================
Always make sure that you back up your existing savegame file before use, like with any other plug-in.
There shouldn't be any conflicts with other mods, even the older version. The only cell modified is "Molag Mar, Waistworks" for the vendor NPC.

CREDITS & USAGE:
===============================================
*Dereko - The tent, folding table, and camping bag meshes, and for some mods to my original script that I included.
*Calishlan - retextured fur bedroll
*Mr. Phantastik - The main gear script, ach_camp_game_gear, was originally based off of a mannequin script of his.
*Taddeus & Nymeria- The new version is influenced by their Necessities of Morrowind mod, though it doensn't use NOM's content. From them, I got the idea of making camping illegal in cities and underwater (should have been common sense, I know). I've also included an esp which add's NOM compatibility to the campfire and the cauldron.
*Cleaned with Tesame and edited with the Enchanted Editor/TESCS

If you want to use any part of this mod it'd be cool if you asked permission first, but it isn't necessary. Just be sure to give me credit.

SPECIAL NOTES:
================================================
E-Mail me at mpc174@yahoo.com if you have any comments or notice any problems. Put "morrowind" in the subject line so I know it isn't spam.
I'm a retired Morrowind Modder, so I won't be around the forums or anything, and I probably won't be making new mods unless I feel like it. I don't have Oblivion either, my computer chugs on high end games like that (even on Morrowind, for that matter).
Thanks again to everyone who downloaded the original version of my mod! Thanks to Dereko for his great models, especially the tent, and thanks to the whole Morrowind Mod community and Planet Elder Scrolls. Oh, and thanks to Bethesda, they're somehow connected to this mod as well.
